Haute Cabrière

In Their Words
Haute Cabrière History & Location
One of Franschhoek’s most photographed estates, Haute Cabrière’s roots extend deep into Franschhoek’s wine valley, heritage and community having been first established in 1694 by French Huguenot, Pierre Jourdan.
Purchased by the von Arnim family in 1982, Haute Cabrière is surrounded on three sides by beautiful mountains, receiving late morning and lingering evening sunlight, with varying soils and slopes. In each of our wine ranges, we explore Burgundian varietals with pioneering blends, innovative techniques and single varietal wines.
Haute Cabrière warmly welcomes you to explore our superb wines with a range of tasting options. Experience the best of French cuisine at our restaurant or make amazing memories by hosting your special event in this beautiful and relaxing winery overlooking the Franschhoek Valley.

Haute Cabrière Wine Tasting
Haute Cabrière’s first range of exceptional Cap Classique wines are named after the original landowner Pierre Jourdan. We have since expanded to include two more exceptional wine ranges and specialise in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes.
In our stone-encased tasting room, our wine team will share our passion for Burgundian varietals, innovative techniques, Franschhoek’s terroir, and the von Arnim family’s wine philosophy.
