Bosman History & Location
The Bosman Family have been farming in Wellington for 8 generations, yet their approach is far from staid or traditional. Their award-winning wines push the boundaries of innovation, their proud heritage forming the bedrock from which regeneration and sustainability are a natural progression.
Bosman Family Vineyards is just an hour’s drive from Cape Town outside Wellington, a hidden gem in the Cape Winelands with a selection of wines that honour their heritage, community and environment.

Bosman Family Vineyards are proudly accredited Fairtrade, Organic, WIETA (Wine and Agricultural Ethical Trade Association) and BBBEE (Broad-based Black Economic Empowerment).

Wine Tasting: open Mon to Fri 9am-5pm, Sat 10am-4pm.

Bosman Wine Tasting
Bosman Family Vineyards produce a variety of red and white wines, sourced from both their Wellington vineyards and cool climate Upper Hemel-en-Aarde vineyards, near Hermanus.
Our Wellington farm is beautiful, historic and intimate. The Bosman family have been living here for 200 years! A personalised tasting, presented in the ancient cellar is a rare treat: a cool respite in summer under the trees and a cosy fireside interlude in winter.
‘‘Dedicated to Better’ is their motto, both in terms of the wine quality and the impact they have on the environment and the community. This is why they plough back 2% of sales into their community projects like the crèche and aftercare programme. Every bottle sold allows them to invest more into the development of their extended farm family.
Wine Tasting Prices
Tastings cost from R80 pp for 5 wines. This fee falls away if 6 bottles of wine or more are purchased.
We also offer a selection of snacks: Bitterballen (Dutch meatballs) for R60, a Cheese Platter for R190 or a Snack Platter for R80.
Bosman Restaurants
Please note there is no restaurant at Bosman Family Vineyards, however the town of Wellington is just a 5 minute drive away and Paarl less than 20 minutes.
